Writing these will give you better clarity on starting your business. Don’t hurry up at this stage, seek relevant details, document them, and then let’s move on further.

Step 2: Define your target audience

Most startup fails because of marketing their product to EVERYONE. Doing this will decrease the conversion rate and increase marketing expenses. This happens when you aren’t specific about who your customers are.

To avoid this, have a clearly defined target audience. You have to drill down precisely based upon different parameters like gender, age, location, etc.

With this data, you will know whom to and not to target. This not only saves you money but also saves the efforts you do in marketing.

Step 3: Develop a brand for your business

It’s time to tell your customers who you are and what your product does in the name of ‘branding'.
